OCT 22, 2016 UPDATE
SAILING DAILY, CONDITIONS PERMITTING, 7:30 AM-2:30 PM
On Monday 10/17, we changed over to Striped Bass and our regular schedule 7:30 am-2:30 pm. We only fished on Mon, Tue and Fri. of this week, not making it on the 2 most beautiful days of the month, due to lack of angler participation.. I am second guessing my decision to switch over as there is a good possibility I made a hasty decision. Those many anglers who asked "when will you start striper fishing" were "no shows" when we made the switch. Both Monday and Tues saw horrible fishing, however, Friday by comparison was pretty good, boating 2 keepers, 5 bonus fish and action on shorts, but there were only 6 anglers aboard. We are doing a lot of searching and even when we fid the stripers, they are not biting. There are a couple of new pictures in the gallery of Lou and Keith each with a nice bass and Kevin H. with 2 bass. Check back or visit our FB page for the latest updates. Oh, we did not try to sail this morning due to the weather conditions and I think the fleet is at the dock. I will take a wait and see attitude for Sunday.

SUNDAY, 10/16 LAST DAY OF "SPECIAL PORGY TRIPS"
MONDAY, 10/17 STRIPED BASS 7:30 AM - 2:30 PM
SAILING EVERY DAY, CONDITIONS PERMITTING
Got out most of the week with a few anglers each trip and had good porgy fishing. The last couple of trips, we had to go further, set on more drops and look a bit harder in order to put together a decent catch. So, with many anglers asking for the Stripers, we have decided to change as of Monday 10/16. I just hope the many of you who have asked when we are going for Stripers show up at the boat!!

LONGER THAN 1/2 DAY, SHORTER THAN 3/4 DAY, JUST THE RIGHT DAY!
The fall fishing continues to be great to good on all trips. We have spent some days at the dock due to lack of angler participation as well as rain/wind weather. Every trip sees plenty of porgies going home with all anglers, as well as some nice Sea Bass that had to be returned as season is closed, and a couple of nice blackfish (you can keep 1 ) My grandson Sean, mate in training, got his 1st blackfish on Saturday. Check out the "Catches of the Week" for the latest pictures. Can't wait to get back out there, it is looking good for tomorrow, Monday.

OCTOBER 10, 2016 UPDATE
Well, Mother Nature has ruined another holiday weekend for anglers by bringing the heavy rains and strong winds, so once again, the boat sits at the dock along with the others in the Harbor. The winds are suppose to diminish and conditions should be good for tomorrow, so Jake and I will be at the dock in the morning ready to get back out and catch the porgies. So take advantage of the good weather forecasted for the next few days and get in on the great fall fishing.
PORGY SPECIAL 7:30 AM-1 PM FARE $50.

OCTOBER 1, 2016
PORGY SPECIAL 7:30 AM - 1 PM
Welcome to October 1! It is September 1, Deja Vu with Mother Nature once again keeping us at the dock due to strong east winds and high seas. Our last Porgy Special trip was on 9/28 where we had almost full buckets of porgies. Catching was best in the ocean, but when the winds picked up and the tide changed, we were forced to retreat inside, where we had a steady pick of big porgies. The catch was good and all anglers went home with plenty of delicious fillets. So 3 DAYS and counting sitting at the dock, Sunday is a SLIGHT possibility and Monday looks like a GO! Check back tomorrow for an update.
