JULY 5 UPDATE

It has been a hectic week. but the catching is back on track with plenty of action on the shorts, and most trips producing decent to a lot of keeper fluke. The pool fish has been weighing in between 3lb to -7.5lbs. some notable catches have been Jim McDonald's pool fish at 6.5 lbs, Alex's at 5lb, Greg 4lb winner and Pat R. with a 5 pound pool winner, not to forget John with his pool fish. Tom & Sue took home 3 nice keeper fluke for several dinners, while returning numerous shorts to be caught another day. Don't forget to check out the latest pics in the Catches of the Week, June and July. This week parking in the Harbor is a bit of a "pain" as the AH Fireman's Fair has taken over a large portion of the lot as well as closing off the main entrance to the Harbor. We suggest you pull up to the boat and unload your stuff and then go park, it will make it a bit easier and definitely less stressful.

WEEKEND UPDATE 6/26 & 27

Much improved fishing over the weekend with some of the bigger fluke being landed. Pool fish going between 5-7 lbs. Adrian was out on Friday pm trip and took 3 keepers, including the pool winner  home for dinner. Sat morning we had the Knights of Columbus of St. Kateri Church aboard and they had an "Awesome" time, good weather, good company and good fishing, big fish weighing in at 5 lbs. Sunday's AM trip was a personal best for Sal landing a 7.25 lb fluke to take the pool. The afternoon hi hook was John with 3 keepers and the pool. Check the pictures out in the "Catches of the Week" June.

MON & TUES 6/20, 6/21 UPDATE

INot much to report for the last couple of days, with most of the action being on the throwbacks, though some anglers have managed a keeper or 2 to take to the dinner table. We haven't been on the bigger fish the last couple of days, but everyday and every trip is a new adventure, so join us on ours.

Ed, your picture of the 6lb pool winner on 6/17 pm trip is in the photo section. Sorry for the delay.

Not much to report, shorts and keepers but we have not been on the bigger fish lately. I know all the reports of such super fishing hypes everyone and then you come down and it is a slow day. Guess that is why I always tell people, if you read about it, it has already happened. But you can be certain, the crew and I are out there every day and I do my best to put the boat on the fish. Every day is a new adventure, so join us on ours.

SUNDAY, FATHER'S DAY 6/19/16

Happy Father's Day to all the Dads!  Left the dock early with a great bunch of folks aboard, some celebrating Father's Day, some just going fishing. The morning trip was a bit slow as we picked through the shorts to take a few keepers. Amanda got a nice fluke, N. Plainfield Johnny out with his sons, Kenny and Eric,  were able to take 2 fluke home for dinner Kat got the pool with a 5 pound beauty. It was nice to see Peter Franks and meet his daughters, Emma and Jane. The afternoon trip was pretty much a repeat of the morning, Kat stayed on and landed 2 more nice fluke, but the highlight of the trip was Gina Adragna and her bringing in a striped bass at a whopping 42 lbs.  Everyone on the boat shared in the excitement as the Capt. and crew did their utmost to make sure she got the fish in the boat. Check out the pictures in "Catch of the Week" Photo Album, June 2016. Thanks to all who shared the day with us aboard the DOROTHY B. Fish with us and you will "Experience the Difference"
