SATURDAY: Very light crowd for us, had decent short action and a few keepers. Greg took the afternoon pool with a 4 pound Fluke
Fluke fishing is a low key type of fishing with pretty much each day a repeat of the one before, so I will only be updating the report twice a week unless some sensational event occurs. You can check angler's photos on our facebook page (click the f logo at the bottom of the page) or on our Angler's Photos page on our website.
Sailing every day twice a day 8 am-12:30 pm and again 1:30 pm-6 pm.

OPENING DAY FLUKE
The morning was off to a good start with Steve Rad landing the 1st keeper fluke (18 1/4 inches) of the 2015 season on the first drift of the day. Stayed on the drift and put 3 more keepers in the boat, for the rest of the morning we picked away at shorts. The afternoon trip was dampened by less than favorable conditions and it was not until the end that Joe got a keeper and took the pool.
Jeremy, Jake and I want to thank all the "good folks" who shared opening day aboard the DOROTHY B. I wish the catching could have been better, but tomorrow is a new day and with it a new adventure. The forecast is for a nice weekend so grab your gear, pack your lunch and spend a few hours aboard the DOROTHY B, the boat with the most experienced Captain and best crew!!

FLUKE SEASON OPENS FRIDAY MAY 22 !!!
HALF DAY SCHEDULE WILL BEGIN ON FRIDAY MAY 22
2 TRIPS EVERY DAY 8 AM-12:30 PM & 1:30 PM-6 PM
Monday was the worst of the last 3 trips, both weather and fish. Tuesday and today saw a couple of keepers and some aggressive blues. Al Abramson took today's pool with a nice striper.
Tomorrow (Thursday) will be our last striper trip of the spring season. I am sure the bass are here waiting to be caught, but it is time for us to make the change to FLUKE and our 1/2 Day schedule.
Come join us tomorrow for the Dorothy B. Striper Finale !!!!
Hope to see our 1/2 Day Fluke anglers on Friday.

SUNDAY UPDATE: Wednesday saw some decent catching, Thursday and Friday were the pits and we did not get out Saturday due to lack of angler participation. Today started out ok with North Plainfield Johnny landing a keeper bass, not too long after that Steve aka Grams got a bigger bass, so I thought the day was going to be a good one. That was it on the bass, plenty of blues to supply the days action.
