NOV 10, 11, 12 & 13 UPDATE

THURSDAY- Kids were killing it with young James getting a 29" bass and young Mike getting his 1st keeper bass this season. William took the pool with a nice 10 lb bass. We ended the day with 1 fish away from the boat limit of 28-43 bass and some slots. All went home with fish for the dinner table.

FRIDAY- Chartered by a loyal group of folks who have been with us since we started in the Atlantic Highlands, unfortunately it was not a good day of catching for them. We started the morning with a bit of action on shorts, searched a lot and only managed 3 keepers for the trip.  Sorry folks, I did my best! It's" you should have been here yesterday and we will get them tomorrow" scenario.

SATURDAY-After a tough day Friday, Saturday the fish were biting once again. Eric had his 3rd keeper, which he released by 8:45 am, John took the pool with a 18lb bass and we were close to a boat limit of 28-43 as well as several slot fish.

SUNDAY- As of 9 am-OUTSTANDING FISHING-  Ernie and Joey each had 2 bass, Sean had 2 and released 5, Bob, Luke and Pat had nice keepers, close to boat limit and filling up on slots.

We are using swim shads and casting, so bring a spinner if you have.

11/5/16 UPDATE

So Wed the bass started to bite again and we had 3 days of good to great fishing. Each day most anglers had their limit of 28-43" bass and several slots each trip (when we fish NJ waters. they have to go back when in NY), catch and release, some days starting by 11 am. John & Joe & John each had a big keeper, Kevin H got his big bass, lots of fish all around. On Thursday,  Claire got the 1st keeper, a 38" bass, less than 40 minutes into the trip, not far behind was Pat with 34" by 10 am Chris, Ron & Kevin with limits early and catch and release for rest of trip. This morning started off good with Oliver and Dugan landing a matching pair of 36" bass, but then things slowed a bit and ended the day with only a few keepers and a couple of slots, blame it on the boat traffic, but I don't know.Tomorrow is a new day and with it a new adventure, so Join us!

Tough couple of days with a lot of searching and only a couple of keepers. We found patches of fish, but they just would not take the lines. Wednesday is a new day and hopefully a better one.
